KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Three Heart of America Athletic Conference teams were ranked in the top 25 with one other also receiving votes in the 2012 NAIA Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Top 25 Poll on Tuesday afternoon.

Regular season co-champions Baker and Missouri Valley both landed in the top 10 as the Wildcats were ranked #2 while the Vikings earned the #10 spot in the poll. The Wildcats advanced to the semifinal round of the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship last season while the Vikings matched Baker with a 6-0-1 record in HAAC play before falling in the NAIA Opening Round.

Benedictine gave the HAAC three teams in the top 25 as the Ravens climbed two spots from the 2011 postseason poll to #19. The Ravens pushed Baker into overtime last season in the semifinal round of the HAAC Tournament before falling to a 3-2 decision to finish with a 15-3-0 overall record.

MidAmerica Nazarene finished third in the poll in others receiving votes after winning the HAAC Tournament championship last season. The Pioneers, who posted a record of 13-8-1 in 2011, return leading scorer Trent Remmich, who scored 26 goals and tallied 55 points as a junior.

Defending national champion Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) received all 19 first place votes to remain as the top-ranked team in the poll. Southern Poly (Ga.), Rio Grande (Ohio) and William Carey (Miss.) rounded out the top five.
