Marshall, Mo. (April 13, 2010)-Coaching staff and team members of the Missouri Valley College football team participated in the annual Take Pride in Marshall litter pickup.

Marshall's most traveled streets were the main focus of the more than 50 volunteers.  After the litter pickup was complete, participants met at Indian Foothills Park for lunch.

"It was a good thing for us to do as far as team unity," said MVC Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator Monty Roe.  "It is nice to help a community that supports us so much."
