Two members of the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) will start the regular season ranked in the NAIA Top 25.

Benedictine College and Baker University were named as the No. 10 and No. 24 teams respectively in the Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll released Tuesday by the NAIA. Missouri Valley College was also recognized in the receiving votes category.

Coming off the school's eighth men's soccer national championship, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) takes over at the No. 1 position in the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Preseason Top 25 poll, announced by the NAIA on Tuesday. The Blue Raiders earned 19 of the possible 20 first-place votes to total 560 points. This is the first No. 1 ranking for Lindsey Wilson since the final 2008 poll (Nov. 16). Lindsey Wilson bumps out Bethel (Tenn.) from the No. 1 spot after the Wildcats were the top-ranked team for the entire 2009 season.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups. The first regular season Coaches' Top 25 Poll will be announced on Sept. 7.

The full release is available on the men's soccer home page on the NAIA website.
