HAAC Commissioner, Larry Lady was inducted into The Kansas Collegiate Officials Hall of Fame in The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the Museum of World Treasures in Wichita, KS. Larry Lady has been serving as the National Supervisor of Officials for the NAIA in Football, Basketball, and Baseball since 1994, jointly serving as the Commissioner and Supervisor of Officials in the Heart of America Athletic Conference since 1993, and as a Big XII Observer/Evaluator of Officials since 2003.
Lady received the NAIA Frank Cramer Award in 2001, was honored by the NAIA when they established the Larry Lady Officiating Award in 2001 to be awarded annually to an outstanding NAIA official, was nominated for the NAIA Charles Morris Award in 2003, and was elected to the NAIA Hall of Fame in 2004. He also served on the NAIA Council of Presidents for four years and the NAA National Coordinating Committee for four years.
