SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Headed into the first round of the NAIA Div. II National Tournament on Thursday, Benedictine College forward Abby Winder (Jr., Troy) needed 14 points to move into the 1,000 career point club for the Lady Ravens.
She scored 18 points in the Lady Ravens 79-57 win over Aquinas College giving her 1,005 points in her three-year career at BC.
Winder became the third member of this year's Lady Ravens squad to reach the 1,000-point milestone.
Guard Nicole Fields (Sr., St. Joseph, Mo.) was the first back in December and forward Courtney Edmonds (Sr., McLouth) become the second during the second round of the HAAC Tournament against Avila University.
