Marion, IN - The Yellowjackets wrapped up competition today on day three of the NAIA Track & Field National Championship with junior discus thrower Florida Siaosi (Apple Valley, CA).

Siaosi entered the competition with three 1st place finishes on the season in the discus and qualified for Nationals as the 11th seed with a flight of 45.00 meters. After warming up in the second flight, Florida would throw her best of the day at  40.77 meters. Unfortunately, the distance was not enough to allow her to compete in the final flight and Siaosi would finish in 18th place.

After the competition, Head Coach Allshouse said, "Obviously today was not a good day for us and I don't think we brought the focus needed to vie for a National Championship."

The Graceland University men's and women's outdoor track & field teams and Head Coach Kent Allshouse end another outstanding 2011 season with a solid showing at the National Championship.
