KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sophomore guard Conner Langrehr of MidAmerica Nazarene was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday morning.

Langrehr had the hot hand from the floor for the Pioneers last week as they finished the first half of conference play with a one-game lead atop the standings. A native of Gardner, Kansas, Langrehr averaged 15.5 points per game while shooting 12-of-19 from the field (.632), 5-of-9 from 3-point range (.559) and hit 2-of-3 free throws.

In a top of the table clash at #17 Evangel on Thursday evening, Langrehr shared team-high scoring honors with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting in 26 minutes of play to help the Pioneers to an 86-85 victory. Two days later at home against Culver-Stockton, he hit 5-of-6 shots, including all 4 of his 3-point attempts, helping MNU complete the first half of conference play with a 8-1 record.

Langrehr will represent the conference in the running for the weekly NAIA Men's Basketball Division I Player of the Week award, which will be announced no later than Tuesday afternoon.
