KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Conference leader MidAmerica Nazarene moved up three spots in this week's version of the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
The Pioneers, currently in the midst of a 9-game winning streak, hold a one-game lead over Avila at the midway point of Heart of America Athletic Conference play. The final stretch of the season opens on the road for MNU as they visit Peru State on Thursday, January 26.
Avila continued to be listed among the others receiving votes as the Eagles inch closer toward a national ranking. The Eagles, who have a four-game winning streak of their own headed into this week, begin the second half of conference play at home on Thursday against Baker.
