KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Baker sophomore Katie Thurbon completed a clean sweep of weekly indoor track and field awards as she was named the NAIA Indoor Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Thurbon set a personal best as well as a school record in the pole vault as she cleared 12' 1.5" at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational last Friday. The Topeka, Kansas native is tied with two other student-athletes with the top mark in the event this season.

The Baker standout is the first Heart of America Athletic Conference competitor to claim a national award during the winter season and the inaugural HAAC student-athlete to win a Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award since the honor was first handed out last season.
