Women's Indoor Track & Field - Thu, Mar. 1, 2012

GENEVA, Ohio - The 32nd NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships will include 11 student-athletes from the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The event will take place March 1-3 at the SPIRE Institute Track and Field Sports Complex. Schedule | Live Scoring

Fresh off its conference championship two weeks ago, Baker will have three competitors taking part in four different events. Freshman Tyler Sloan will be involved in both the 60 meter hurdles and the 200 meters while teammates Stephanie Nelson (shot put) and Katie Thurbon (pole vault) will be on the field.

Central Methodist boasts nearly half of the league's entries with five Eagles among the field. Rebeca Barajas will be the most active of all HAAC representatives as she competes in the triple jump, high jump and pentathlon. Katie Fulton, Shelby Garrigus and Jonisha McCoy will also compete in jumping events while Kelly Klusmeyer qualified in the shot put.

Live scoring for the championships will be available starting with the pentathlon at 1:00pm (EST). The first individual track event is scheduled to be the 5000 meters at 4:00pm (EST).
