KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The three Heart of America Athletic Conference teams set to continue their seasons at Municipal Auditorium next week have been matched up among the 32-team field at the 75th Annual Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship. Tournament Bracket
College Basketball's Toughest Tournament, which is scheduled to take place March 14-20 at the famed basketball arena in downtown Kansas City, will include 31 games over six days with the championship team having to win five games.
Regular season runner-up Evangel (23-9) will be the first HAAC team to take the floor as the Crusaders are scheduled for a Wednesday, March 14 matchup against #8-seeded Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) at 2:15 p.m. (CST). The Blue Raiders (21-9) earned an at-large berth after claiming the top seed in the Mid-South Conference Tournament.
Later that day, HAAC Tournament runner-up Baker (21-11) will make its first appearance in the NAIA Division I Tournament against 7th-seeded Our Lady of the Lake (Tex.) with tip-off scheduled for 6:15 p.m. (CST). The Saints (26-7) claimed their spot in the tournament after finishing as runner-up of the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament.
Day two of the competition will see HAAC regular season and tournament champion MidAmerica Nazarene (25-8) makes its return to Municipal Auditorium after missing the last two tournaments and will battle 11th-seeded Mountain State (W.Va.) on Thursday, March 15 at 6:15 p.m. (CST). The Cougars (23-8) were an at-large selection after falling in the championship game of the Association of Independent Institutions Tournament.
The first 30 games of the tournament will be available for viewing online via NeuLion. A package to view the entire tournament is available for $29.95 while single-day passes can be purchased for $9.95. The National Championship final on March 20 will be televised live on CBS Sports Network at 7 p.m. CST.
