Dowd, a junior who was chosen the HAAC Player of the Year, was a 3rd-team selection this season after garnering honorable mention recognition a year ago. Dowd led the Pioneers to the HAAC regular season and tournament titles after averaging a team-high 17.0 points per game.

The honorable mention list included seven members of various HAAC teams: Evangel's Cale Ramsey and Stephen Cotten, Kevin Booker of Avila, Brad Burgus of Graceland, Quaran Johnson of Benedictine, Ben Steinlage of Baker and Derrick Williams of Peru State.
