KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Central Methodist sophomore Aubrey Utley and Evangel sophomore Danelle Billings headlined a group of three Heart of America Athletic Conference players named to the NAIA Softball All-America lists.

Both Utley and Billings were named to the NAIA All-America second team in their second collegiate seasons following campaigns in which they each earned individual awards on the conference level.

Utley, who was named the HAAC Pitcher of the Year, helped Central Methodist to both the HAAC regular season and tournament championships, giving the team a place in the NAIA Softball National Championship Tournament. She posted a record of 26-7 on the season with a 1.42 ERA in 227.1 innings of work. She tallied 29 complete games, including 8 shutouts, and struck out 169 batters.

Billings was chosen the HAAC Player of the Year after leading the conference in batting average (.442), slugging percentage (.830), hits (65), RBI (67), home runs (14) and total bases (122). Also named to the HAAC Gold Glove team, Billings was named the HAAC Player of the Week three times in 2012 and had a pair of two-home run games just eight days apart in February.

Central Methodist added one additional player to the honorable mention squad in senior 1B Kayla Yount. The Eagles' leading hitter finished the season with a .395 average with 15 doubles, 8 home runs and 46 RBI.
