Colorado Springs, CO - Head women's volleyball coach Stew McDole received the USAV award for outstanding service recently, honoring him for over 30 years of service.

Coach McDole traveled to Colorado Springs, Colorado over the weekend for the annual USA Volleyball board meeting at the headquarters of USA Volleyball.
While there, he was unexpectedly presented the award by CEO of USA Volleyball, Doug Beal (former Olympic gold medal coach).

Stew has served on the Board of Directors from 1981-present, treasurer from 1991-1996 and 2000-present, executive vice president from 1996-2000 and was on the executive committee from 1991-2008.

"My involvement with the national governing body of volleyball in America has been one of the joys of my volleyball life." said McDole. "USA Volleyball has given me opportunities to share in the sport at the highest of national and international levels.

"I have always been grateful for the association and continue to hope that my contribution has been useful to the advancement of USA Volleyball agenda."

Graceland University has had the pleasure to have Stew McDole as the head women's volleyball coach for the past 31 years and look forward to many more to come.
