KANSAS CITY, Mo - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is proud to announce the qualifiers for the 2009 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship, scheduled for May 12-16 in Mobile, Ala. Defending national champion Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) is gunning for its sixth straight national championship and 10th overall. The Lady Senators have been ranked No. 1 in all seven Top 25 polls this season.

The championship will be played at the Mobile Tennis Center for the sixth straight season. In all, 24 teams will converge in Mobile to play for the championship, as 16 squads received automatic bids and eight more made the tournament as at-large selections.
