BALDWIN CITY, KS -- May 4, 2009-- Kristal Wilson, a three time All-American, 1999 Rookie of the Year, and former Wichita State University standout will be leading Baker's University's new women's bowling team. Wilson will be responsible for developing the Bowling program for Baker which is slated to begin competition next fall.

"We are fortunate to have a women's bowling coach for our new program with the experience and knowledge of Kristal Wilson. She will bring instant credibility to our program," said Athletic Director Dan Harris. "The bowling coach is a part time position which will bring eight to ten new students to Baker University. This is a response to the popularity of bowling in the state of Kansas. Baker is serving a niche in the community by providing an opportunity to young women who are developing their skills to a very high collegiate level and need a place to pursue their dreams."
