The William Jewell women's doubles team of junior Nikki Chambers and sophomore Tanya Ratana is currently ranked #12 in the nation in the latest National Poll for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.  Chambers and Ratana finished the fall season 5-3 and qualified for the International Tennis Association's Small College National Championships October 14-18 in Mobile, Ala., where the Cardinal tandem finished in eighth place.

"Nikki and Tanya have really developed into an outstanding team," said head coach Paul Worstell. "I am really looking forward to seeing them continue to grow together as a team this spring season."

 

In addition, Chambers was ranked 27^th in the nation in singles and Ratana was ranked 42^nd in the nation in singles as well.

 

The Cardinals will open their spring season on Friday, February 19, against Doane College in Lincoln, Neb.
